The world of book publishing has this romanticized feeling to most of us. The appeal of books is still a wonderful thing. But just as every branche, the book printing industry has gone through a lot of change. This is great. Because that means that (almost) anything is possible. But it can be intimidating for those who are new to this.
ProefschriftMaken originated from the idea that the production of your thesis needs as much attention as possible. In 2017 we started small with a considerable amount of book production throughout the Netherlands. Since then we have grown to more than 1,200 productions worldwide. This makes us one of the larger thesis printing companies in the area.
Our vision is simple; your thesis is our concern. Our customers have a ProefschriftMaken contact person at every step of the process. You can contact them for all your questions. The fact that you have a contact person within our company guarantees that production runs as smoothly as possible.

Boekenmakers, part of ProefschriftMaken, symbolizes the charm and potential of the publishing world. Founded in 2017 with the indirect knowledge that the production of a book requires careful attention, Boekenmakers has quickly developed into a prominent player in the industry. Up to 2022, they have produced more than a thousand book productions in the Netherlands and Belgium. Ze hebben mijn proefschriftboek gedrukt en ook een eBook van mijn proefschrift gemaakt. Hun werk was goed en ik was erg blij met het eindresultaat. Alle stappen tussen de proefdruk en het eindboek werden vóór de deadline opgeleverd. Wat mij ook erg op prijs stelde, was hun zorg en goede communicatie met mij en de scriptieredacteur. Ze waren altijd zeer attent en stuurden mij op de dag van mijn verdediging zelfs een e-mail met goede wensen. Ik heb een geweldige ervaring gehad met Proefschrift tijdens dit zeer drukke en emotionele moment ter voorbereiding op de verdediging van het proefschrift.

Prima keus om je proefschrift te laten drukken en opmaken. Men luistert goed en is bereid om samen mee te denken aan een goede en passende oplossing. Omdat je toch al genoeg onzekerheden hebt rondom de promotie is het fijn dat produceren van het boekje naar wens is verlopen.

Wat een geweldige drukkerij is dit! Niet alleen is de kwaliteit goed maar ook de communicatie met proefschriftmaken is erg goed, snel en vriendelijk. Produced a very nice looking thesis. It was possible to meet them beforehand, where they (Ben) made a great suggestion for my cover. Communication via email was also easy, clear, and quick. Maybe sometimes a bit too quick, leading to misunderstandings, but those were always professionally resolved.

I did not deal with other printing offices in The Netherlands but I think this is the best. It is difficult to find such like those people, Mr. Ben, Mehmet, Hassan,..etc. who are professional , very helpful, patient, and kind. Hopefully; I can see them one day!.

Great quality, fast, reliable and creative. Communication with them was always very fast and smooth, with a clear planning and timeline. I had my thesis designed and delivered in record time. I also asked them to take care of the design of the cover and chapter pages, which was handled with creativity, reaching a great result!. The quality of the final product is great!
